Warranty
Nexus Metal Detectors warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period 2 years for private buyers and 1 year for companies.
The Warranty is automatically granted to the person who's name appears on the store invoice, no registration is required and commences on the date of product receipt.
The Warranty is limited to operation of the products under normal use and in accordance with the online user manuals published on www.nexusdetectors.com.
Request Validation
If it is determined that the Warranty holder's request is valid, Nexus Metal Detectors will repair, replace or service any defective part at our cost, with return shipping. If the request is determined to be invalid, the Warranty holder is responsible for cost of investigation, repair or replacement and shipping.
What is not covered
Damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, fair wear and tear, or opening the control box, user alteration, modifications, unauthorized servicing. Any included accessories such as batteries or chargers.
Warranty Requests
Each Nexus product is tested prior to shipping and unlikely to require servicing. If the event occurs for a warranty request, it is priority and usually completed within a day or two. The Warranty holder should contact us by e-mail within 14 calendar days from date of first becoming aware of alleged defect and follow the instructions provided by us.
Warranty Transfer
The warranty is transferable to the new owner if they contact us within 14 calendar days following purchase and provide either a sales invoice / receipt or written and signed letter issued by the last Warranty holder. These documents should contain a date of sale, the amount paid and reachable contact information of the last Warranty holder. The product should be inspected by a person authorized by Nexus Metal Detectors, following inspection, a document approving transfer will be provided.
